Thinking back of all the memories that we shared definitely involves our neighborhood softball games (yes in the street where someone would yell "CAR!" then we would move to the side of the road until it passed then continue on with our game!); the bicycle wheelie championship at the Fire Station; campouts; playing cops and robbers at our 'racetrack' in the woods after midnight! Would we run into trees and wreck? Of course, we would get back up bruised and bleeding and go at it again! Another memory is back when it actually snowed, we would wax our sleds and and slide down the "big hill" for hours upon hours! It is nice to reflect on these warm memories. Rest in peace Eric, we will see you again!

What a shock! I just found out about Eric's passing! I had no idea! So sorry to hear this! Not only were we neighbors, we were best friends for years! We shared so many memories from camping out (late night bike adventures); the treehouse; guitars; St. Stephens High...just to name a few. You will be missed my friend but I know that you are in a much better place and experiencing joy that we cannot imagine. May God bless and be with your family during this difficult time.

Sad to read that my friend Eric Deitz has passed away. We were very close friends growing up as young kids in the community of Crestmont. We continued hanging out well into our teens, blowing and fishing with other friends was our favorite things to do. He was truly a great friend. My condolences to all of the family members.
