Frank Dellinger Obituary

LINCOLNTON - Mr. Frank Lamar Dellinger, 82, of 6383 East Highway 150, Maiden, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Palliative Carecenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley in Newton. His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Warlick Funeral Home, with the Rev. Raymond Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight, Saturday, at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton. Mr. Dellinger was born Sept. 18, 1924, in Lincoln County to the late George Brown and Grace Bradshaw Dellinger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Madline Crowder Dellinger. Mr. Dellinger retired after 35 years from J.P. Stevens, where he was a supply clerk. Survivors include two sons, Larry Dellinger and wife, Kathy, of Lincolnton, and Steve Dellinger and wife, Gail, of Maiden; one brother, Horace "Doodle" Dellinger of Lincolnton; one sister, Anna Campbell of Maiden; seven grandchildren, Sheree Daily, Wendy Galle, Tammy Lingerfelt, Frankie Dellinger, Tim Dellinger, Jennie Dellinger and Shana Dellinger; and 11 great-grandchildren, Sierra Heavner, Kaleigh Lingerfelt, Lindy Dellinger, Kelsie Dellinger, Kara Dellinger, Clint Dellinger, Cole Dellinger, Korin Barker, Lacie Barker, Sadie Dellinger and Kennedy Dellinger. Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Dellinger family.
