There are a few men I gained respect for over the years and 'George was one of them. I will always cherish the talks and discussions we had at Carolina Container shop. George loved to have deep meaningful conversations about Religion, politics , and just everyday life. Never meet a more giving man in my life. I didn't say good bye, I just said I will see you later in another life.

One of the finest men in Burke County and we just lost him. Prayers for Dorothy Linda McIntosh and the whole family. I will miss him as a personal friend, but I know he is in a better place with no more aggravating pains. George, you made a positive impact at our chapter and helped it to grow to what it is today. Thank you, George, for a job well done. And the caissons go rolling along.
