Reid William "Will" Cline, Jr., 74 of Statesville passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at his residence.
He was born November 6, 1950 in Catawba County to the late Reid William Cline Sr., and Mildred Sigmon LaFone. Will retired from Hickory Springs Manufacturing after numerous years of service. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, high school football, mowing the lawn, and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cousins, Charles Peirce, Hal Weaver, Gary Detter, and Norris Detter.
Those left to cherish his memory are; wife of 17 years: Linda Lee West Cline of the home; son: Andy Cline and wife Mayumi; brother: Tim Cline and wife Gayle; granddaughter: Kaya Cline; nephew: Matthew Cline; nieces: Stephanie Aldridge, Lori Green; three great-nephews; one great-niece.
A memorial service to celebrate Will's life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton. Rev. Tommy Young will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hickory. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at Bennett Funeral Service.
