Dear Jackie,

In Christian consolation, my God grant you and your family comfort and strength, and the peace in knowing of the salvation that comes through our Savior, Jesus Christ. Steven was more than just a colleague when I worked with him at Alcatel ('88 - '98), he was a true friend and gentleman. His presence will be missed, but rest in knowing that his presence on earth was joyfully felt by many.

Dear Jackie and family,

My sincerest condolences to you for Steven's sudden loss. I just found out today and am shocked and saddened. As you may remember, Steven was my first (and later closest) work colleague at Alcatel that started back in '91. Steven always had time to help, offer advice, or just be a good friend. I have the utmost respect for him not only as a businessman, but more importantly as a fellow Christian and friend. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Jackie, Natalie, Kurt & Emma, I have no words to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Please know that his legacy and love will live on through you.
I met Steven in 1983 when became a member of my family and married my cousin Jackie. I was not fortunate to see him very often because we lived in Texas, but the times I did get to see him, he always had a smile so bright that it would light the darkest night. He had the most amazing sense of humor, and a laugh that could melt the coldest heart. He was one of the kindest, gentlest and most loving men I have ever met. I am a better person for knowing him and consider myself very lucky for calling him family. If you knew Steven for 5 minutes you were a friend for life.
Now his eternal light and smile will burn even brighter in the heavens as a beacon for those he left behind, ever guiding and watching over all of us. Rest in Peace Steven. Until we meet again.
With all our love, The Blegens, Tavie, Art, Ian & Thomas Jacobs.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Steven at Draka/Alcatel for 8 years, and what a genuine great guy, father and friend. He will be truly missed and I am heartbroken. I know that his family and his granddaughter Emma were the light of his life. May your wonderful memories of him keep you smiling.

Dear Jackie,

What a beautiful service yesterday! I know you are very proud of your children and your granddaughter. They did such a good job of paying tribute to Steve. I know Steve was proud too.

Please know that my family is praying for you and your family and that you can call on us. May God place his arms around you all for I know that losing Steve was a major loss to those left behind but a huge gain for heaven.

I had the joy of working closely with Steven for several years at Alcatel/Draka and he was a remarkable person. His passion for life, love for his family, and overall determination inspired me to be a better person and follow my dreams. His legacy will always be one of kindness, truth, and an unforgettable smile. My sincere condolences to his precious family.

Steven was a brother in Christ. I know he is with our loving Savior, and that is what gives those of us who are still coming to terms with his passing, hope. He loved the Lord and fearlessly witnessed to those, including me, who longed for a deeper understanding of our faith. One day we will be with him again, but until that time is here, we need to do just what Steven would remind us to, seek God for strength, comfort and peace.

To the Robinson Family:
I am so grieved at your loss. Steven and I taught together in Bible Study Fellowship. You really get to know a person when you teach with them and Steven was one of the best. His dedication and love for the children was matched only by his love for the Lord. May the Lord assuage your grief in the memories of your time with Steven.

I knew Steven from BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) where he was a devoted childrens leader. While Steven is at home with our Heavenly Father, his passing will leave a large void in the lives of his family and friends. I pray that God will bring you comfort in the up coming days. Until the day when we will be rejoined with Steven again. May God bless the Robinson family.
