Thomas Edwards Obituary

Thomas Kenny Edwards CONOVER Thomas Kenny Edwards, 60, of Conover, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at his residence. Born Jan. 13, 1952, in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of Mallory and Marion Edwards. He was a warehouse worker. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Edwards, and grandson, Braydon Beasley. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Edwards; parents, Mallory and Marion Edwards; daughters, Cortney Beasley and husband, Brandon, of Conover and Holly Edwards of Virginia; son, Jason Foley of Mountain View; brother, David Edwards of Virginia; sister, Libby Edwards Wilburn of Elizabeth City; and 11 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Oxford Baptist Church Cemetery in Conover at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 17, with Rev. Tracey Mull of East Hickory Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Drum Funeral Home in Conover. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Hickory Baptist Church, 130 16th St. SE, Hickory, NC 28602 or Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, NC 28658. Condolences may be sent to the Edwards family at drumfuneralhome. com. The Edwards family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation in Conover.
