Miss Dana (Coach Casey) was the staple and mentor to my volleyball career. I am very grateful for everything she did for me on and off the court. A wonderful person. She was a fighter throughout her battle with cancer. She touched the lives of many people and that will never be forgotten. Her memory will continue to live on. Sending condolences and prayers. May she rest in peace.

So very sorry to learn of Dana´s passing. I was a niece to Aunt Betty McCracken, your Great Grandma. She and Richard were visiting in Hillsboro, and I went down for the afternoon/evening. Hadn´t seen Richard since he was a little tyke and first time meeting Dana. I felt like we connected easily and have conversed over the years online/FB, etc. Was shocked to see this today, after doing some investigating. You have my heartfelt sympathy and prayers. She was definitely a very Grand lady, and also your Dad, they were a perfect couple!!!

Both Dana and Richard taught my children. We were in the same graduating class and I remember them being together in High School. I will always remember her smile and Loving Kindness. Love and Prayers to all who loved her

I remember standing in a parking lot in Lompoc, CA with Richard and Dana; Karl and myself; and another couple when Dana suddenly stopped the conversation and said, I just realized that I have blood from each of you running through my vanes. I was honored to know Dana and Richard. I was honored that God put me in CA at a time when I could offer a little support to her, early in her battle with cancer. She fought so long and so bravely and was an amazing inspiration to me and so many others. I will never forget her beautiful spirit and faith and will miss her.
