Dennis Shisler Obituary
Dennis was born on May 27, 1957, in Redlands to Charles and Martha Shisler.
He graduated from Yucca Valley High School in 1975.
After graduation, he owned the Yucca Valley Kentucky Fried Chicken before selling it in 1990. Following the sale of KFC, he worked primarily as a painter, spending much of his time at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel, where he also volunteered as an usher.
He enjoyed going to church, visiting with his family and watching movies. He will be remembered as an incredibly kind and gentle man who was well-liked by all who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his siblings, David Shisler, Douglas Shisler, and Charlene Shisler; his children, Tina Billings, Jonathan Shisler, and Amy Lee; and his five grandchildren, Conner Billings, Riley Billings, Amara Lee, Bodhi Lee, and Kayden Shisler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Daniel Shisler.
He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel.
