Robert "Dr. Bob" Wines

Dr. Robert Wines, AKA Dr. Bob, was taken into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Sept. 10, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 82 and surrounded by his wife of 57 years, son and daughter in love and dear friend Karen.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila, son Matthew, daughter-in-law Bambi and grandchildren Hope, Jeremiah and Reina.
Dr. Bob was a native Californian born in Hollywood to Dr. W.F. Wines and Charity Loyd. He graduated from La Habra High School and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He practiced in Beaumont for 60 years and in Yucca Valley for 40 years.
He and his brother Dean (who survives him) are second generation chiropractors and passed their love of chiropractic on to their sons, who are third generation chiropractors today.
He was a longtime member of CV Grace Brethren Church, now Grace Fellowship, since 1965, holding offices and working with the youth and kids. He was very active in a living history group for World War II in their Second Armored Group.
Dr Bob is well known for his well-loved Jeep named Dotty. He drove many vets in parades for Cherry Festival, Banning Stagecoach Days and Veterans Day Parades in Palm Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.F. and Charity (Suzy) Loyd, stepdad CA Loyd and daughter Rachel.
His celebration of life will at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Grace Fellowship Church at 10257 Beaumont Ave., Cherry Valley, CA 92223.
