Life seems so unfair sometimes. We really need to live and appreciate what is today, what is now. Show your love for those you care for, tomorrow may be too late. I'm happy to have known Starlene and watch her blossom from a child to womanhood. She wasn't one to let things bring her down. She'll be missed, but her memories will stay with us always.

One of my memories I have of my granddaughter is how strong minded she was. Going through all she had to endure with this cancer she just told the doctors do what you have to do to keep me alive I still have two girls at home who need me
