Carlos Godinez Obituary

Carlos Enrique Godinez, born on February 14, 1949 to Rodolfo and Adela Godinez in Cuba. Carlos passed away peacefully on Sunday July 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Carlos was born in Cuba and at a young age he and his family moved to the United States.

In the early 80's, Carlos met Catherine and they married on June 2, 1984. Together they raised 6 children.

Carlos was a respiratory therapists for 40 years. When he and Catherine moved to Burnet, Carlos worked at Seton Highland Lakes and with AAA Medical. After retiring from being a respiratory therapist, he then worked for Burnet CISD for 10 years.

Carlos is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Catherine and 6 children, Troy, Todd, Tony, Chris, Karen and Jayson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 4 brothers and 5 sisters, along with a host of nephews and nieces and other family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday July 25, 2024 from 5-6pm with a rosary from 6-7pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Marble Falls on Friday July 26, 2024 at 12:00pm with the burial at Lakeland Hills Cemetery immediately following.
