Lisa Solorio Obituary

Lisa unexpectedly left this world on March 11, 2023 to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was a shining light to all who knew and loved her. Her greatest joy was caring for her husband and family.

One of her passions was Cooking and she planned many gatherings of Family and Friends with whom she used her skills.

Lisa was the youngest of five girls to Ralph and Joan Upchurch. She was born July 30th in Muskogee, OK. She was raised in the Hill Country and later, into adulthood, moved to the Austin area.

In her teenage years, she was a cheerleader throughout high school. She was a talented young woman, who loved doing things like track, diving, and gymnastics. She was loved by many, being honored as homecoming princess and head cheerleader her senior year.

Later in life as an event coordinator in the Austin area, she met the love of her life. Robert Solorio II and Lisa got married in 1999.

Her love was unconditional, she would describe Robert as stubborn, but she wouldn't want him any other way. She was more than just a wife; she was a partner and always on his team. Lisa was a free spirit and balanced out Robert's personality. Her heart was home when she married him.

Lisa would tell you that she was made to be a mother. She used to say it came naturally, there was nothing she would change. Lisa gave birth and raised 6 beautiful children.

She described her joy being raising the kids, dancing, singing, reading books, and going on nature walks. She loved to sing and dance around the house, cook, bake, write, buy shoes, and be a mom no matter how old her babies got.

She leaves behind her loving husband Robert and her 6 children - Casey and Cory Leech, Bianca Solorio Prather (Christian), Robert Solorio, Ramon Solorio and Roland Solorio. Her Mother Joan Upchurch and her 4 sisters. Belinda Tigrett (Bill) Sandy Gregory Cyndi Williams (Bret) Marci Jones (Gary) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her angel baby, Brittney, and her father, Ralph Upchurch.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts in Lisa's name may be made to: THE BURNET COUNTY CHILD WELFARE BOARD 1104 Buchanan Dr. #2. BURNET, TX. 78611.
