Connie Spring Obituary

Connie Gene Spring our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, lost her battle to Cancer with family by her side on Monday Sept 9th.2024.

Gene was born to Norman and Connie Scrowther on October 24th 1943.She has two siblings, Kathryn Lamborn and Paul Scrowther. She Married Wallace Spring and had four children. Carol, Boyd, Brian, and Susan. Her and Wally later divorced.

She was a fighter and did not want to leave her family. Gene has had so many accomplishments in her life, but her grandkids were her favorite. She enjoyed being around family as much as she could. She spent several hours of her life supporting her kids and grandkids in all their activities.Gene coached and was a certified umpire with baseball, she was watching baseball up till the last two days. We had family outings such as Cherry Hills, Lagoon and Red fish Lake camping. She really loved just seeing her family happy and spending time together.

Gene loved her card playing, she was involved in several bridge and pinochle clubs, she cherished these times to be with friends.

Anyone that knows her, will never forget her Bread, cookies, and rolls. She was an amazing cook and baker and was always making things to give to others, you could not come over and see her without her offering you something to eat or drink. She was the most caring and thoughtful person, always taking care of others before herself.

Gene was such a hard worker she held several jobs. some of which would be old Del Monte plant, years at Mountain Farms Cheese Plant. She then went on to retire from the USU food services where she ran the Carousel Restaurant. After retirement she became the desk manager at the Old Trapper Hotel.

Gene has 12 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren with one more on the way. She is proceeded in death by her (Parents) Norman and Connie Scrowther, (Son) Boyd Spring, (daughter-in-law) Deneice Spring,(sister-in-law) Kristie Scrowther, (brother-in-law) John Lamborn

The family would like to give special Thanks to Sunshine Hospice, they have shown such amazing care for Gene, from the Doctor on down to the best Nurse ever. Erin we are so truly grateful for all the love and compassion you shown her and the family, thank you for always being just a phone call away.
