Hadley Wood Obituary

Leaving this life much too early, Hadley W Wood, 29, passed away on December 19, 2024, from injuries due to a fall. Hadley was born on August 22, 1995, in Logan, Utah, to William "Sput" Wood and Rozann Workman Wood.

Hadley was a bright inquisitive child who loved to learn. He especially enjoyed learning about history. Following graduation from Cache High, he attended Utah State, Weber State, and was finishing his certification in Automated Manufacturing and Robotics at Bridgerland Technical College.

Hadley enjoyed playing video games and made multiple friends while playing online. He loved animals, especially the family dogs and cats which were always present in his life. He loved his family and was often found laughing with his younger brother, Hunter, in the family basement.

Hadley is survived by his parents; his brother; his grandparents, Don C. Workman, and Dorothy Burton Kofoed; along with multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Jack Wood and Jane Rice Wood; Uncles Donald Wood and Bob Wood; and a cousin, Bella Hanson.

The family is very grateful to the emergency personnel, first responders and those at IHC Logan Regional Hospital, for their assistance during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, White Pine Funeral Services, 753 S 100 E, Logan, Utah from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Following the completion of the services, interment will be at the North Logan Memorial Park Cemetery, 2485 N 2075 E, North Logan, Utah.

Consider donating to a charity in lieu of flowers. Due to Hadley's love of pets, one to consider is FourPawsRescueUtah.org, who had been helping Hadley with some rescue cats near his home.

Services are under the direction of White Pine Funeral Services, obituary can also be viewed at www.whitepinefunerals.com

Dear Dorothy, Rosie & family; we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandson/son! Sput probably doesn´t remember me, but I grew up in Clifton also. I was one year younger than Robert. Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss. It is so hard to lose a child. No one should have to go through that!

I did not know this young man, but losing people who haven´t been able to live out their lives is extremely sad.
