James Frankowski Obituary
James Frankowski was born on April 27, 1935, to Joseph Frankowski Sr and Emily Latus Frankowski in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, including Viet Nam. After he retired from the Air Force, he worked 20 more years until finally retiring in 2005.
He loved fishing, and spending time with his family visiting the national parks in the West.
Jim is survived by his wife Ingrid Frankowski, sons Brian (Susan) Frankowski, Thomas (Lisa) Frankowski, Christian (Kym) Frankowski, one brother Gene (Amy) Frankowski, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughter Christine Frankowski, sisters Roberta Borgenson, and Mary Burback, brothers Joseph Frankowski, Thomas Frankowski, Jerome Frankowksi, John Frankowski, and Michael Frankowski.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the White Pine Chapel, 753 South 100 East in Logan, Utah. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East in Provo. Just learning of Jim's passing. I worked with "Frank" as we all called him at Rocky Mountain Helicopters, Inc. from 1984-87. He and Russ and Bruce and Brad were the parts room guys. Brian his son worked there also. He was a Great Guy, always willing to kid around and have fun and he knew his stuff too. My condolences to Brian and the rest of the family and friends.
