This was a sad shock, I had the privledge of working with this happy lady and her beautiful daughters: They were so capable, dependable and always willing to help even on short notice. My love goes to her family and your dear mom goes on with you. Such an example to all you touch. Thanks for touching my life. Thelma

Jolene and I are cousins. We are the same age. We were born 4 days apart. Our mothers were sisters.

As young cousins growing up we did a lot of things together. We even attended the same High School, Weber High School in Ogden, Weber, Utah.

When we were about 10 or 11 years old my parents took us to Lagoon. That year Lagoon was having a treasure hunt. They told us kids to go into the plowed field and see if we could find anything.

Jolene and I started digging with our bare hands because tools were not allowed. We were about to give up when Jolene felt something hard in the ground. We kept digging and we found one of the treasure boxes. It contained 500 silver dollars. We were very excited. Wow!

My parents gave Jolene and I each $50 silver dollars to start a savings account and they kept the rest.

I still have that wooden treasure box today.

Jolene was a special friend and cousin. She was a friend to all and a very kind and gentle person. I will miss her a lot.

The attached photo is a cousin photo of us when we were teens at a family reunion 1990.
