Dear JoAn and Family,
Gayle and I want to add our voices to those of others who carry warm memories of our association with you and Richard. We thank you and him for the special times together in Jerusalem, for your joint efforts to make living and studying at the Jerusalem Center all that it could be for students, faculty and staff. We are sure that Heaven was paying attention. Thank you.
We are sorry to miss the viewings and funeral. We trust that you are in good hands and good health.

My memories of Richard are few but my husband Wallace Brown was a cousin. (Wally passed away October 4, 2024). Richard's parents kept us posted about him and we received notices of his tours. He was an example of a true Saint and as a member of the extended Berrett family.

I remember so many fun memories with my grandpa. This has been a really hard last couple of days with the grieving of my grandpa and loved one. I am glad that you are in a good place and are out of any pain. I remember all the stories my grandpa would tell me that would make me laugh and smile.
