Angeline Geerlings Obituary
She is survived by her children, Mark and Maureen Geerlings, Brian and Marlys Geerlings, Ron and Sue Geerlings, Jon and Janet Geerlings, Ed and Lynn Geerlings and Jane and George Vander Beek; 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; her siblings, Ted and Gladys Wierda, Hazel and Tony Kiekentveld, Warren and Norma Wierda and Ken Wierda; brothers and sisters-in-law, Betty Wierda, Rose and George Bouma, Robert and Linda Geerlings, Ethel and Clarence Steenwyk, Paul and Jan Geerlings, Evelyn and Ron Brouwer, Dave and Linda Geerlings, Ken Koning and Herb Otten.
Ang was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harvey, in 2007. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Reformed Church in Zeeland.
Ang had a servant's heart and the gift of warm hospitality. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at First Christian Reformed Church, 15 South Church Street, Zeeland. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Zeeland Christian School or Resonate Global Mission (formerly Christian Reformed World Missions) www.yntemafh.com

Aunt Ang was a very special person. I don't ever remember her saying a bad word about anyone. It was always fun to visit her and Uncle Harvey at the Farm, and watch those chickens scramble. Cousins - Keep the great memories and share with family.

Dear Geerlings kids,
Our sincere sympathy to all of you. You have many precious memories of times spent with your mom. Keep them close. Praying for you all in the next few days. The GEMS had the privelege of singing Christmas carols with her a few weeks ago. We told the girls she was a GEMS leader also a "few years ago" she nodded and had the biggest smile on her face! We sure were blessed!
