Catherine Hosta Obituary

June 24, 1926 – May 20, 2018
Catherine Hosta (she would always say, Catherine with a ""C"") of Boise, Idaho and Holland, Michigan died peacefully Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the home of her daughter and favorite son-in-law in Boise, Idaho. She was under the loving care of her daughter Susan Horvath. She had many hobbies, golfing, skiing, traveling, singing, and dancing but being with her family gave her the most joy. She will be remembered by them as always being a loving, patient, kind and giving person.
She made friends wherever she went and was fun to be with. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile and would always receive smiles from those around her. Catherine would have celebrated her 92nd birthday this June 24, 2018. She will be joining the love of her life, John Joseph Hosta, Sr., who passed away on October 5, 2009. They celebrated 65 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children, James (Judith) Hosta of Holland, Michigan, Dennis Hosta of Montague, Michigan, Cary (Susan) Hosta of Holland, Michigan, Susan (William) Horvath of Boise, Idaho, Denise Hosta of Holland, Michigan, and John J. Hosta of Spring Grove, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Curtis James Hosta and Joshua J. Hosta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Horizon Hospice of Boise, Idaho or Hospice of Holland, Michigan.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2018, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Holland.
