Melvin Zoerhof Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Arla; his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Shawn and Larry Schreur of Hamilton (Aaron and Amanda: Kinslee and Audin, Patrick and Kristen: Zoe, Evelyn and Kylee) Blain and Jennifer Zoerhof of Holland (Jacob), Amy Vanderwerf of Hamilton (Sydnee and Juan and Kayleigh), Merle and Kristi Zoerhof of Hamilton (Colin, Logan and Mya); sister Jean and Bern Ebels.
Mel was preceded in death by his son, Jarl in 1967.
He was a member of Oakland Christian Reformed Church; Mel enjoyed bowling, deer hunting, spending time with his family and serving others by volunteering his time and talents.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Oakland Christian Reformed Church, 4452 38th Street, Hamilton, MI 49419. Interment will be in Bentheim Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the World Renew Disaster Relief. www.yntemafh.com
