Phil Bronkhorst Obituary

Phil A Bronkhorst, 71 of Lavaca, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his home. He was born in Holland, MI on July 13, 1946 to the late Albert and Elma Bronkhorst. He graduated from Holland High School and continued his education at Michigan State University where he earned his bachelor's degree. He then volunteered for service in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer during the Vietnam War. Upon his return he attended Central Michigan University to complete his MBA. He was a Christian, retired bank president and a member of the American Legion. He was also an avid motorcycle rider and loved to travel.
Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel, Fort Smith, AR. Burial with military honors will be 12 Noon at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Phil is survived by his wife Angela, his daughter Heather Ann Magers, DDS and her husband David of Grandview, TX, his sister Lynda Hoffman of Holland, MI, three grandchildren; Abby, Allie, and Zane Magers, his niece, Stacey Hoffman of Virginia, his nephew Chad Hoffman of Holland, MI, and his step-son Dimitri Potts of Dallas, TX.
