Wes is a neighbor of mine, who not only loves his pets but loves all pets. Our black cat, Stanley, is a lover of all things moving...especially cars. One day, Wes called me over to share this funny story. He was on his way downtown one day when he heard the weirdest noise. At first, he wasn't sure what he was hearing, but then quickly came to realize it was coming from inside his vehicle. In no time at all, he looked up to see Stanley in his rear view mirror just meandering around the car! LOL! Wes thought it was hilarious, despite the fact that he had to turn around and come all the way back home to "drop off" his neighbor's overly friendly cat. His face lit up when he was telling me the story, which made me so grateful to have a neighbor that could see the humor in this innocent little act! He would even leave food out on his porch so my cats would have a treat when they were outside. If he saw Stanley and called his name, Stanley would literally start to gallop across the yard to run to him. I was actually starting to think I had been replaced as my cat's alpha male!! I am saddened to think that our last conversation was truly our last conversation. God Bless you Wes and all of your family. May He watch over your family as they try to move forward during this difficult time.
