Kristin Richert Obituary
A registered nurse for 15 years, Kris was guided by a deep compassion and desire to help others. Her magnetic personality and infectious laugh endeared her to everyone she encountered. To have met Kris was to love Kris. Always bubbling with enthusiasm for new adventures, she opened the business of her dreams with her loving partner Mike, of 9 years. Their business, Salty Gator Bike Factory in Cocoa Beach, FL, sells and rents custom designed E-bikes.
Kris and Mike were equally passionate about animals and nature, always feeding, rescuing, or nurturing every animal that crossed their path. She was a lively, bright presence and her unfailing kindness elicited a ripple effect that will forever echo and resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
Kris's greatest joy in life was providing for her children, which she did with an extraordinary degree of love, patience, and enthusiasm. Ever the fun Mom, she spent every moment of every day ensuring that her children lived a life embraced by unconditional love.
Kris was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by three siblings and many nieces and nephews in addition to her children, life partner and many friends. May the beautiful memories and lessons that Kris created be eternal. Rest in peace our mother, sister, aunt, soulmate, and dear friend.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 4:30pm on Oct 21, 2023, at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations would be appreciated to benefit Kris's children as a trust is being set up to ensure their future.
