EDNA TREADWAY Obituary
April 1, 1955 - March 16, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Treadway on Sunday, March 16, 2025. After a courageous battle with cancer, she departed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. Tina was known for her good natured personality, sense of humor and beautiful smile. She touched the lives of others with kindness and love through her work as a home health aide, bartender and hair dresser. Tina was born on April 1, 1955 to Shirley Patrick and Darell Treadway in Newport News, Virginia. She attended Johnson High School and went on to study cosmetology at Mr. Paul's Cosmetology College. She later moved to Volusia County, Florida where she spent the remainder of her life and was a resident for over 40 years.
Tina was a bartender at the Holly Hill Eagles Club for 20 years and the Holly Hill American Legion. She worked as a home health aide while caring for the elderly. She was passionate about being a hairdresser and met many friends through her work. She will be greatly missed by those lives she touched. Tina enjoyed listening to music, cooking, home decorating, boating and walking on the beach. She loved nature and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Ogden; sons Charles (Chuck) Ogden and Steven Schweinhart; mother, Shirley Green; sister, Shirley Anthony; best friend, Suzy Brown; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Darell Treadway and sisters Charlene Oakley and Shelley Wheeler.
May Tina rest in peace, free from pain and may she be remembered for the love and light she brought to the lives of others.
Celebration of life was at Westside Baptist Church, April 26, 2025. Saturday 1:00pm
Reception followed at Westside Baptist Church at 1085 Mason Ave., Daytona Beach FL 32117
In lieu of flowers donations to Westside Baptist Church maybe made in Tina's honor.
