Abraham Griffin Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, June 1, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Melva Williams Griffin; son, Linton Griffin and wife, Martha; daughters, Marilyn Dewey and husband, Ike, and Mildred Collins and husband, Tedman; brother, Ronald Griffin; sisters, Naise Rousse and Laura Cheramie; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Sedonia Griffin; brothers, Jerevis, Freddie, Cleveland and C.J. Griffin; and sisters, Beulah Cheramie and Lois Serigny.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
