Andrew Lapeyrouse Obituary
Andrew Lapeyrouse Sr., 83, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday at Samart Funeral Home, and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia LeBouef Lapeyrouse; one son, Andrew "Jay" Lapeyrouse Jr. and wife Judge; one daughter, Peggy Sue Lapeyrouse; four grandchildren, Ronnnie Breaux, Jason Lapeyrouse, Jamie Breaux and Jana Lapeyrouse; five great-grandchildren, Bruson Bergeron, Jaci Breaux, Jason Lapeyrouse Jr., Destiny Pledger and Chloe Breaux; and three godchildren, Lawrence Lapeyrouse, Gregory Vosbin and Peggy Lapeyrouse.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Lapeyrouse; his parents, Octave and Emma Lapeyrouse; five brothers, Louis, Leo, Camille, Octave and Dewey Lapeyrouse; two sisters, Emma Vosbin and Lillian Lapeyrouse; and one brother-in-law, Anthony Vosbin.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
