Connie Benoit Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Sept. 5, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Norris Benoit; sons, David and wife, Sharon Benoit, Darryl and wife, Stephanie Benoit, Dwayne and wife, Shaelynn Benoit, and Donny and wife, Jessica Benoit; daughter, Darlene and husband, Chad Collins; brothers, Herbert Matherne Jr. and Danny Matherne; sisters, Wendy Vicknair, Denise Babin, Sheila Gros and Melissa Pitre; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helen Matherne Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Melanie Benoit.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

My prayers for the family.I just spoke with her a few weeks ago . I worked with her at the State school and we kept in touch with each other.She will surely be miss.This family has certainly had its share of grief.I will keep all in my prayers !
