Daniel Eschete Obituary
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, with burial in the Church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda D. Eschete; son, Darrell Eschete and wife, Julie; daughter, Rachel Eschete and fiancé, Darrel Pierce; grandchildren, Joshua Gautreaux and fianceé, Traci Ledet, Mark Gautreaux Jr., Trent Eschete, and Jacob Eschete; great-grandchild, Owen Gautreaux; brother, Gilbert Eschete; and sisters, Lorraine Adams, Eloise Plaisance, Annabelle Henry, Irene Barrilleaux, and Earline Richardelle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Israel and Marie C. Eschete; son, Danny Eschete; brothers, Paul, Earl, Ernest, Nolan, T-John, and Murphy Eschete.
Daniel was an avid deer hunter who passed away doing what he loved. He was a very hard-working man and his family's needs always came first.
The family would like to extend special thanks to everyone for their prayers, blessings and support at this difficult time.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
