Donald Adams Obituary
Donald P. "Poppee" Adams, 79, a native and resident of Cut Off died on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at 11:11 p.m.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11 a.m. on Saturday, followed by a burial; in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years; Rosemary G. Adams, sons; Kim Adams and companion Lisa, Joey Adams and wife Anna-Maria, Don "Noochie" Adams and wife Sherrie, Timmy Adams and wife Natalie, Ricky Adams and wife Carla, and Jacques Adams, daughter; Robin A. Harbourt, sisters; Gloria A. Loumiet and Barbara McKay, 12 grandchildren; and on great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Alcide Adams, Jr. and Catherine G. Adams.
He was a United States Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion and Knights of Columbus.

To Miss Rose and Family - Mr. Donald was more than a long-time colleage to my dad; he was a true friend. I am sure the two have found a great fishing spot in Heaven. Our condolences and prayers go out to all of you.

Mrs.Adams, I went to school with Kim and Joey and, you worked with my parents at Cut Off Elementary School, (Mr. and Mrs. Pierce).
