Dukin Arceneaux Sr. Obituary
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, September 2, 2016 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Bayou Blue United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Bayou Blue United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will take place in the St Hilary Cemetery in Mathews, LA.
He is survived by his daughters, Wendy Weimer (Steve) and Loretta Pitre (Ruble); daughter-in-law, Liz Arceneaux-Boquet; grandchildren, Chad Arceneaux (Kim), Michelle Scott (Lee), April Burgett (Morgan), Joel Martinez (Kristina), Thomas Weimer, Donavan Naquin, Caleb Pitre, Morgan Pitre; great grandchildren, Landon Scott and Hunter Burgett; two brothers, Norman Arceneaux and Click Arceneaux; and three sisters, Irene Meadows, Vivian Matherne, and Melba Matherne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evest and Adele Martin Arceneaux; two daughters, Mary Naquin and Mona Arceneaux; son, Dukin "Butch" Arceneaux Jr.; and two brothers, Aaron Arceneaux and Jesse Arceneaux.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
