Edith LeBlanc Obituary
Edith Gaubert LeBlanc, 90, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at St. Joseph Carpenter House.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from 8 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, La. 308, St. Charles. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the church, with interment in the church cemetery.
She is the mother of Sharlene Bergeron Dantin and Daniel Breaux; mother-in-law of Keith Dantin and Delores Breaux; grandmother of Marshall and Kristen Dantin; grandmother-in-law of Becky Soileau Dantin; sister of Adeline Samanie; and sister-in-law, Lola Hebert Gaubert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert P. LeBlanc; her parents, Theresa Richard and Thomas Gaubert; her sisters, Edna Babin, Louise Ledet, Enola Ledet and Irma Simon; and two brothers, Lawrence and Emile Gaubert.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a retired Jefferson Parish School Board worker. She was a native of St. Charles, a resident of Marrero for 60 years and the last 10 years a resident of Baton Rouge.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to St. Joseph Carpenter House, 10615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
