Edward Blanchard Obituary
Edward Blanchard Jr., 83, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8:33 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home. Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Nell S. Blanchard; son, Daniel Blanchard and wife, Karen, and Richard Blanchard and wife, Lynette; daughter, Melodie Blanchard; 11 grandchildren, Ryan Callais and wife, Kati, Russell Callais and wife, Crystal, Edward Callais, Kimberly Maynard and husband, Ian, Danielle Marie and husband, Kyle, Brittany Blanchard, Christina Boudwin and husband, Jacob, Richard James Blanchard Jr., Misty Blanchard, Victoria Naquin and husband, Josh, and Stephanie Stalcup; and seven great-grandchildren, Coryn, Kayden, and Kary Rose Callais, Christian and Carter Maynard, Samantha Marie and Camberlynn Boudwin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Blanchard Sr. and Eunice Blanchard; two sons, Edward Blanchard III and Thomas Jude Blanchard; and sister, Jeannie Fuch.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
