Elton Dean Sr. Obituary
Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 from 5pm to 8:30pm and private time with children from 8:30pm to 9pm, and Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 12pm to 2pm at Samart Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2pm at Samart Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patty" Poche Lovergne Dean;
Children- Charlene Brown and husband Jimmy, Charlotte Whitby (Deceased), Cynthia Miller and husband Mark, Eva Blake and husband Harley, Elton Adam Dean, Jr. and wife DeAnna, Clayton Dean and wife Sheryl, and Carlton Dean; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; step children, Lloyd Lovergne, Sr. and Robert Lovergne, Jr.; brothers, Morris Dean, Oris Dean, and Cyrus Dean; sisters, Eva Underwood, Alice Stringer, Mary Ann Dean, Gloria Pellegrin.
He was preceded in death by his1st wife, Mary Alice Pierre Dean; parents, Ivy John Dean and Elma Trosclair Dean; daughter, Charlotte Whitby; grandchild, Brooklyn Vick; brother, Milton Dean; sister, Doris Parfait.
Elton worked as a driller in the oil field for over 20 years. He enjoyed dancing, playing Pokeno and Bingo, and also cooking, but he especially loved spending time with his family.
His final resting place will be in Casper, Wyoming.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
