Glenn Meyer Obituary
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church at 422 Valhi Blvd, in Houma. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Brunette Meyer; daughter, Katie Meyer and fiance, Kevin Von Burgsdorff; brothers, Lee Meyer and wife, Sugar, Dutch Meyer and wife, B.L., Lon Meyer and wife, Emily, and Earl Hernandez and wife, Maria; brothers-in-law, Joe and Mike Brunette; sisters-in-law, Sandy Picou and husband, Bobby, and Donna Brunet and Jim Gast; nieces, Barbara and Jennifer Meyer, Gabriel Hernandez, Tammy Chase, and Angie Pampell; nephews, Ricky, Tommy, Jacob, Christopher, and Judd Meyer, and Brett Hernandez; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Politz Hernandez; mother and father-in-law, Joe and Genevieve Brunette; nephew, Ben Meyer; and sisters, Barbara and Tina Hernandez.
He was a loving husband and daddy and a loving man of God.
A good man, a good story.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.

As a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, the fire was tragic, yet we have had so many blessings through it all. Meeting many good people through Grace Lutheran is one of those blessings and Glenn was definitely among them. He will be missed, but I'm so glad I got the chance to meet him. Many prayers and blessings to the family.
