Glenn Rivet Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till funeral time Wednesday, August 19, at St. Hilary of Poitier's Catholic Church in Raceland.Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m., with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mr. Glenn is survived by his daughters, Kristy Lynn Rivet and fiancé Jamie Gaudet and April Rivet Ordoyne and husband Ryan; grandchildren, Shelby, Maci, and Jillian Garrett and Taylor, Connor, and Camryn Ordoyne; mother, Sondra Adams Rivet; sisters, Beryl Rivet Pitre and her husband, Chris, and Monica Rivet and, her companion, Eric Carney; mother of his children, Bonnie Delaune, and godchildren, Alicia Pitre and Nicholas Arcement.
Mr. Rivet was preceded in death by his father, Louis "Sonny" Rivet Jr.; brother, Gregory John Rivet Sr., and nephew Gregory John Rivet Jr.
Mr. Glenn adored his grandchildren, nephews, and nieces and was a terrific grandfather and uncle who was very involved in their lives. He was retired and enjoying it, and loved to watch the Saints and LSU football. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It seems like just a few years ago, we were practicing at his grandma's house. Also sorry that I couldn't make the funeral. My prayers go out to you all.
