Harriet Bass Obituary
Harriet Bass is survived by her two sons, William T. Bass Jr. and wife, Pat of Cincinnati OH, and Robert Bass and wife, June of Houma, LA; six grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in life by her husband, William T. Bass Sr.; her parents, Roy and Harriett Roddy; and sister, Margaret Hammic.
Harriet enjoyed the arts and could often be found working on her arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed making quilts and passing them on to her family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her; but never forgotten.
Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bass family.

The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Mourn and grieve as you must, and do not be afraid to cry, because crying serves as an emotional release. "For everything there is an appointed time, even...a time to weep." Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Know confidently that soon death will be brought to nothing 1 Cor. 15:26. All our loved one will be brought to life again soon.

It is never easy to lose a loved one, I pray you find comfort in God's promise found at John 6:40 which says that soon we will see all our loved ones again. My deepest condolences to the family.

I wish to give my condolences to the family and friends. May you find comfort during this trying time. At Isaiah 61:1,2 God promises to provide comfort all those who mourn. May you find comfort in these words.
