Henry Tabor Obituary

Henry Tabor, 94, was born on Jan. 3, 1924, and passed away on Jan. 4, 2018. He was a native and resident of Choctaw, La.

A visitation will be held at Life Tabernacle Church on Monday, Jan. 8, from 9 a.m. until funeral time. A religious service will take place at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. James Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gertie Molaison Tabor; children, Donald Tabor and wife, Irma, Wayne Tabor, Stanley Tabor and wife, Judy, and Tammy Tabor Bourgeois and husband, Allen; grandchildren, Todd Tabor, Mitchell Tabor, Rachel Labit, Jeremy Tabor, Melanie Benoit and Jed Sanchez; great-grandchildren, Brad, Doug, Brock, Dustin, Luke, Yvonne, Adriane, Brodie, McKenzie and Rustin; great-great-grandchildren, Leighton and Landon; and siblings, Victoria Landry and Angela Cortez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Agnes Tabor; son, Harold Tabor; daughters-in-law, Susan Tabor and Delores Tabor; and siblings, John Tabor, Morris Tabor, Phillip Tabor, Viola Sanchez, Marie Jane Sanchez, Angelina Tabor, Edna Tabor, Zolema Tabor and Annette Cortez; and great great-grandchild, Layla Breaux.

Henry proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He will be greatly missed.

He believed and trusted in his Lord Jesus Christ. He supported his church and other Christian ministries faithfully.
