Jane Champagne Obituary
She was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church of Bourg.
She was a retired nurse from Terrebonne General Medical Center.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6 at St. Ann Church in Bourg. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church, with burial to follow in church Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Edward Champagne Jr. and Esmelda, David Champagne and Stevie, Marc Champagne and Liz, Chris Champagne and Brenda, Charles Champagne and Rosalynn, James "Jimmy" Champagne and Stephanie, Thomas "Tommy" Champagne and Dena; daughters, Mary Elizabeth "Lisa" Hebert and Raymond, Carla Wells and Leonard, Jane Ellen Dupre and Frank, Victoria "Vickie" Benoit and Andrew; 32 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew Boquet; and sisters, Ruth Pinell, Rose Mary Rhodes and Gertrude Waggoner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Rosena Boquet; brothers, Charles, Roy, Allen, Julius, Carl, Lloyd and Cyril Boquet; sister, Mayola Blanchard; and granddaughters, Jennifer Champagne and Tessa Dupre.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, L.L.C. is in charge of arrangement.

We will sure miss her in the neighborhood. I will always remember her as my saving grace when I was in the hospital. It's been almost 28 years and I am still thankful for her being my nurse. May you rest in peace Mrs. Jane! Gone but never forgotten!
