Janice Guidry Obituary
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. until Religious Service at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Napoleonville, LA conducted by Pastor Chuck Chassion. Burial to follow in church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Lenet Guidry; two sons, David Guidry and wife, Mary Beth, and Lenet Guidry and wife, Angel; eight grandchildren, Kristen, Amberlyn, Darian, Cameron, Hayden, Nick, Brandon, and Chase; two great grandchildren, Blake and Brooks; two brothers, Robert "Ray" Granberry and wife, Jane and Dr. William David Granberry and wife, Jeanie.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mary Anna Crenshaw Granberry and Raymond Granberry.
Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Her greatest interests were her faith and family. She enjoyed playing the organ for her church and spending time with family.

We met janice and family at First Baptist Church in Napoleonville in 1981. We have beautiful memories of fellowship with them. Love to view the photos of those two years before we moved back to Arkansas. Such a sweet family and precious friends. Janice was so kind and caring. Wouldn't have survived without her friendship. The world has lost a wonderful person.

Janice was a wonderful girl. I went to Lafayette High School with her, and even then she was exceptional. I remember in 9th grade, our English teacher, Mrs. Love, loved Janice. Janice wrote poetry for her. I was so jealous:) She was so sweet. She was a Christian; I was not, and I remember wondering why she was different from anyone else. Now, I know. I have known Janice since 1992, she was the sweetice and kindest woman and friend to me and all she met. Since 1992 she has sent me a Christmas card and anniversary card every year! These were always inspiring and her notes personal . I always looked forward to the "Christmas prayer ". or anniversary ribbon she would place in the card! Only a few times did she mention her physical problems because she was always encouraging and uplifting to me . I only regret I read if her passing today.
