Joseph LeBoeuf

Joseph Edward LeBoeuf, 81, a native of Montegut and resident of Chauvin, died Friday, July 15, 2011.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by 11 sons, Wiley J. LeBoeuf Sr. of Chauvin, Raymond J. LeBoeuf and wife, Vickie, of Chauvin, Willard J. LeBoeuf Sr. and wife, Dianna, of Chauvin, Gillis J. LeBoeuf and companion, Irene Guidry, of Chauvin, Ricky P. LeBoeuf of Chauvin, Richard J. LeBoeuf and wife, Roxana, of Bourg, Timmy J. LeBoeuf and companion, Angel Rodrigue, of Chauvin, Tommy J. LeBoeuf and companion, Peggy Naquin, of Chauvin, Jimmy J. LeBoeuf and wife, Stella, of Chauvin, Hansen J. LeBoeuf and wife, Donna, of Alabama, and Jerry J. LeBouef and wife, Sheryl, of Chauvin; five daughters, Mary Lou L. Lambas and husband, Jessie, of Chauvin, Mary Ann L. Billiot and husband, Paul, of Houma, Linda Ann L. Naquin and husband, Marty, of Chauvin, Brenda Lee L. Rodrigue and husband, Michael, of Montegut, and Betty Marie L. Mills and husband, Richard Jr., of Chauvin; four brothers, Emery LeBoeuf Sr. of Bourg, Ernest LeBoeuf of Montegut, Wilfred LeBoeuf Sr. of Montegut and Ellis LeBoeuf Jr. of Montegut; three sisters, Alida L. Darcey of Montegut, Rena L. Price of Bourg and Lorina L. Boudreaux of Houma; and 45 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by is wife, Mary Marie LeBoeuf; his parents, Ellis Joseph LeBoeuf and Rozina Nelton LeBoeuf; one son, Edward J. LeBoeuf Jr.; one daughter, Mary Lee LeBoeuf; two brothers, Eray LeBoeuf Sr. and Arie LeBoeuf Sr.; one sister, Wilda L. Lirette; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a loving husband and father of 18 children.
