Katherine Bowens Obituary
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Drive in Houma. Burial will follow in St. James Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Lamar Bowens; daughters, Lucretia B. Thomas and Larbia Bowens; six grandchildren; brothers, Robert Cross III., and Quenson Cross Sr.; sister, Edna Cosey; godchild, Janel Gray; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Jr. and Emelda J. Cross; sisters, Ruth C. Gray, Brunetta C. Stevenson, and Virginia C. Nevarez; and grandparents, Earl Sr. and Zenobia Johnson and Robert Cross Sr.

Earth has no sorrows that heaven cannot heal to her children and grandchildren look to the hills where your health will come from u had a beautiful mom inside and out she was a very caring and compassionate person she will be missed we went to Nicholls state together praying for the family
