Leo Ellender Obituary
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation beginning at 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church on Friday, July 13, 2018. Burial will be held in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery.
Leo is survived by his sister, Alice E. Redmond; sister-in-law, Hazel Ellender; and 13 nieces and nephews.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Guy and Stella Josephine Lirette Ellender; 1st wife, Elizabeth Journee Ellender; 2nd wife, Edith Cunningham Ellender; special friend, Dorothy "Dolly" Louviere; brothers, Bernard P. Ellender and wife, Ann, and Arthur "Tony" Ellender Sr.; and sisters, Elise E. La Bat and husband, Allen, and Merill E. Lirette and husband, Nolan.
Leo was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a past Mason.
Leo enjoyed outdoor activities and raising cattle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
