Linda Chaisson Obituary
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 5, and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday, May 6, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, at the funeral home, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived her sons, Wilson "Shine" Leonard, Kenny "Boy" Chaisson, Herbert Fitch, and Robbin "Jip" Pellegrin; daughters, Kay Chaisson, Kim Faciane, and Karla Chaisson; grandchildren, Jarred Trahan, Danita, Shawna, and Kaleb Leonard, Toby Scott, Ashley Faciane, Tiffany Johnston and Todd Fitch; great-grandchildren, Desmonde Faciane, Kinsley Nguyen, Khloe Moore, and Ava and Alexandra Trahan; brothers, Lawrence and Reed Verdin; aunt, Willa Babin; and caretakers, Dolores Adams, Dawn Littleton, and Karen Thibodeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Chaisson; son, Nelson Leonard Jr.; daughter, Belinda Leonard; parents, Albert "Black" and Vivian Fitch Verdin; brothers, Wilbert "Boy" Verdin, Nolan "T-Boy" Richard, and Donald Verdin; and sister, Yvonne Verdin.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Sincere condolensces to the family. We grew up together for a long time. I always enjoyed talking with her. I did not know she & her husband sold their house & he passed away. All I knew was I had not seen her on her driveway anymore until someone told me. May you rest in peace Linda. Surely wished I could have made her services.

Sorry I couldn't make it to pay my last respects. BUT KNOW THIS, YOU will be in my heart forever. You always had a smile, even though you were in constant pain. You aren't in anymore pain, cause You are in the arms of the most high, AND all our family who have passed before us. LOVE YOU LINDA!! You will be missed.

I live at the highrise and knew Linda was so suprise to hear of her passing. I admired her, she was always so cheerful, I don't think I would have if I were in her place. RIP Linda
