Lolita Lirette Obituary

Lolita L. Lirette, 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at 3:15 p.m.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, from 9 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., with burial in Magnolia Cemetery.

Lolita is survived by her sons, Walker John Lirette of Empire, La. and Johnny Walker Lirette of Oak Grove, La; and grandchildren, Houston and Emily Back and Kasey House; great-grandchildren, Madeline Back, Lexi House, Anna Grace House, Silas House and Joseph Green; and sister, Genese LeCompte-LeCompte.

Lolita was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Houston Joseph Lirette; parents, Oleus and Emily Benoit LeCompte; daughter, Tammy Marie Lirette Irby; sisters, Clara Boudreaux and Beulah Boudreaux; and brother, Louis LeCompte.

Lolita was a homemaker. She loved to sing, she was devoted to the Lord, and loved spending time with family and friends.

Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Lirette family.
