Patsy Anderson

Patsy Anderson, 84, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at home in Apple Valley, Calif. after lengthy illnesses.

There will be a graveside memorial service for her in June, 2012 at the Goldonna Cemetary in Goldonna, La. Anyone wishing to attend can call 760-247-4275 after June 1, 2012 for date, details and directions.

She is survived by her sister, Lemorie Eaves; brother, Weyman Brantley; son, Patric S. Yancey; and two grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felton and Bertye Brantley; and her husband, Charles Anderson.

She was a graduate of Goldonna High School and Northwestern State University. Patsy was a teacher in the Terrebonne Parish school system for 30 years. She had taught at Pointe-au-Chenes Elementary, West Park Elementary and Grand Caillou Elementary Schools. She retired in 1995.

For those who remembered my mother, Thank You. She was buried with a graveside memorial on June 24, 2012 in the cemetary at Goldonna, Louisiana. God Bless You.

Though I have seen Patsy in many years, I think of her often. Not only did we carpool, she was my friend and mentor the first three years of my teaching career. She was a lovely,kind, and giving person. My condolences to the family
