Richard Clement Obituary
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, from 8 a.m. until service time at St. John the Evangelist Church. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Dr. Edward Drew Clement and wife, Mary, Tammy Clement Blakeman and husband, Lance, Chris Clement and wife, Trudy, and Lynette Clement McDonough and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Megan Blakeman Frost and husband, Matthew, Mary Frances Clement Bologna and husband, Francis, Tricia Clement Petrella and husband, Chase, Matthew Clement and wife, Celeste, Linden Blakeman Crochet and husband, Allen, Nikki Clement, Trent Clement, Richie Blakeman, Patrick McDonough, Brendan McDonough, and Caroline McDonough; great-grandchildren, Logan and Camille Crochet, Emma and Kate Frost, McCoy Petrella, and Tate Clement; brother, Carol Clement; and brothers-in-law, Earl Vicknair, Tony DeBenedetto, C.J. Gautreaux and Larry Fremin.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Marie Cavalier Clement; parents, Albert Clement and Lillian Bernard Clement; in-laws, Edward Cavalier and Lily Ourso Cavalier; sisters, Thelma Clement DeBenedetto, Eula Clement McDonald and Emelda Clement Gautreaux; sisters-in-law, Shirley Cavalier Strader, Leatrice Cavalier Vicknair, Marion Cavalier Fremin; brothers-in-law, Dickie Cavalier and Freddie McDonald.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
