Udora Duet Obituary
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Corine Duet Curole and Winola Duet Martin and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Keith Curole and wife, Michelle, Kevin Curole and wife, Margaret, Toni Martin Curole and husband, Greg, and Jason Martin and wife, Amanda; and great-grandchildren, Dwight, Caitlin, Christopher, Mary, Gregory, Luke, Kayden, Allis and Vivian; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Duet; parents, Azilin and Adele Danos; four infant sons; brothers, Phibert, Alidore and Octave Danos, and Milton Rogers; sisters, Attice Boudoin, Venneceia Bellanger; son-in-law, Murphy Curole; and granddaughter, Keli Curole Frazier.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Her hobbies were raising chickens, growing a garden and hunting. She was a crafty woman who could devise anything she needed to achieve what she wanted. She loved her family and her camp.
The family would like to thank Lady of the Sea Hospital staff, Dr. Camille Pitre, The Broadway, TGMC and all the friends and family who helped in her care.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
