Walter Dyer Sr. Obituary
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11: a.m. on Thursday, November 29, at Morning Star Baptist Church, 101 Brule Guillot Road in Thibodaux. Burial will follow in Morning Star Baptist Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy, Walter Jr., and Bradford Dyer (Natalie); daughters, Norma (Dilton) Harkless, Claudette Pearson, Paulette Williams, Maserine, Daphne and Pamela Dyer; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Nolan Dyer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Harris Dyer; daughter, Willie Mae Dyer; grandchild, Sherrena Dyer; parents, Albert, Sr. and Nancy Queen-Dyer; brother, Albert Dyer Jr.; and son-in-law's, Edward Pearson and Paul Lemon.
