William Voisin

William Albert Voisin, 79, a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel. Please contact funeral home for service time Friday. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Enola Marie Porche Voisin; two sons, Daniel and wife, Bridget, and Gilbert Voisin; two daughters, Darlene Duet and Connie Voisin; three grandchildren, Lena D. Burgess, Jason Duet and April Hebert; four great-grandchildren, Michael Trahan, Hannah and Emily Burgess, and Zachary Hebert; and one sister, Pearl Williamson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Josephine Pellegrin Voisin; one son-in-law, Edward A. Duet Jr.; and one sister, Ethel Griffin.

He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette and the owner of Albert's Appliance Repair & Parts for 45 years. He worked so hard often doing work for free to those who needed. There was nothing that he could not fix. He loved working in his yard and loved growing roses. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
