I did not know. I am sorry Alan was one of my favorite people. He worked so hard and well for the boys on Scouts. I am so saddened to hear that cancer reared its ugly head again

We never did get a chance to race our GT500s. As competitive as Alan was it would have been a hoot. Gone way too soon. We will miss you buddy. See you on the other side my friend (but not too soon).

This isn't the end my friend, it's the beginning. It's where you have been preparing to go since the day you were born. I'm sad for those you have left behind but, I'm very happy for you. Even a bit jealous because you have won the victory, while the rest of us still fight on in this ugly, evil, sin filled world. Your world has none of that now. I know I will see you again because like you, I believe the blood of Jesus has covered my sins. The assurance we have is in John 5:24 Jesus said; "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
Talk to you later buddy!
